THE pro skater line up for the highly-anticipated return of Dancing On Ice has been revealed.
Taking to the ice in the 2024 series is professional skater Vanessa James – but who is she and who else is appearing on the show? Here's everything you need to know.
Who is Vanessa James and how many skating competitions has she won?
Vanessa James is one of four brand-new professional skaters lined up for Dancing On Ice 2024.
She is set to join familiar faces Vanessa Bauer, Colin Grafton, Mark Hanretty, Brendyn Hatfield, Sylvain Longchambon and Tippy Packard who will be back on the rink to show off their best moves.
Away from her Dancing On Ice venture, Vanessa, born on September 27, 1987, in Canada, has enjoyed success on her skates.
She is the 2019 European Champion, the 2018 World bronze medallist, and the 2017 European bronze medallist.

The pro skater is also the 2018 Grand Prix Final champion and a six-time French national champion.
She previously spent time as a pair skater – which saw her and her professional partner represent France.
James also represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
And Dancing On Ice won't be her first TV debut.

James has previously appeared on CBC’s Battle Of The Blades – a Canadian figure skating reality show and competition.
Is Vanessa James on TikTok and Instagram?
Like new pro skaters Simon Senecal, Amani Fancy and Annette Dytrt – Vanessa is also active on social media.
The skating star likes to keep fans and followers up to date over on her Instagram account @vanessa_james_sk8 – where she boasts an impressive 56k followers – even before DOI 2024 starts.
However, it doesn't appear as though she is active on the video sharing platform TikTok.

Much to the delight of fans, the Dancing On Ice line-up was revealed at the beginning of October 2023.
