MASTERCHEF: The Professionals has returned with a fourteenth series fn the fan-favourite cooking show.
With a whole host of cooking connoisseurs competing, let's meet Ryan Baker, one of the hopefuls for the MasterChef: The Professionals title.
Who is Ryan on MasterChef: The Professionals?
East London-based chef Ryan Baker is the sous chef at West London's Maison Francois.
The restaurant is known for its French cuisine and also appears in the Michelin Guide.
He competed for the 2021 Roux Scholarship, a contest that finds the country's next best young chef.
Sadly, despite being proud of all his dishes, he did not win.
He also came second in the Young Chef Young Waiters competition in 2019 for the category of Young Chef, which was presented by MasterChef's own John Torode.
Is he married and does he have kids?
Ryan's social media shows he is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend named Tiffany.
There is no evidence on whether they have children or are yet to be married.

What has he said about appearing on MasterChef: The Professionals?
Speaking on the October 26, 2021, via his Instagram, Ryan said: "MASTERCHEF: THE PROFESSIONALS 2021!!!!!! FINALLY… able to announce I'll be appearing on Masterchef: The Professionals 2021."
"The series airs Monday 8th November at 7.35pm and 8.30pm on BBC One! Time to rock and roll!"
It is obvious by his posts that he's looking forward to his time on MasterChef being shown.
The young chef posted an Instagram post on November 24, 2021, reminding people to tune into the show on November 25 to see how he got on.
When is MasterChef: The Professionals next on TV and how can I watch it?
MasterChef: The Professionals started on November 8, 2021.
The show airs on BBC One on Monday evenings in two instalments at 7.35pm and 8.30pm.
It airs on Thursdays for a one-hour episode, then for half an hour at 8.30pm on Fridays.
