ANOTHER year of I'm A Celebrity is over and a new King of the Jungle has been crowned.
After a week of eliminations the 2023 cast had been cut down to just three contestants who were left vying for the win in the 2023 grand final.
Who was in the I'm A Celebrity final?
I'm A Celebrity 2023 started in November with 12 famous faces living together in the Australian jungle.
Over the course of three weeks the contestants lived without any of the comforts they're used to and have also took part in gut-churning Bushtucker trials in order to win food.
Many of the trials involved getting close to Australian critters like spiders, maggots and snakes, though some fans declared retired boxer Tony Bellew's final cockroach-filled trial the "worst of the whole show".
As the show neared its end, the campmates were forced to say goodbye to the celebrities who failed to be saved by the public vote.

What happened in the I'm A Celebrity final?

During the final episode, viewers saw the last standing contestants take on one more challenge before being treated to a luxurious meal of their choosing.

For his final trial, Sam took on a vile eating challenge which saw him eat a pig's vagina.
Tony faced the Stakeout, where he was strapped down to a giant plate and was covered in jungle critters, and Nigel was thrown into the Panic Pit where he won a star for every two minutes he stayed in there.
After the votes had been counted, hosts Ant and Dec revealed that politician Farage had come in third place, leaving Sam and Tony to battle it out to be the new King of the Jungle.
Tony was then revealed as the runner-up, meaning Sam was the winner.
Thompson has taken over the crown from Lioness Jill Scott, who beat Hollyoaks star Owen Warner in 2022 to win the competition.
Who won I'm a Celebrity 2023?
Sam was crowned the winner of I'm a Celebrity 2023 during the series' final episode.
The reality TV star, who had been a favourite to win, was overcome with emotion as he chatted to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in his interview.
He said: "Oh my God. I'm really overwhelmed.
"I didn't think I was even going to be invited on the show. I don't know what to say.
"Oh my God. I'm so grateful, thank you so much. I've dreamt of doing this show for years and years.
"You've made a boy’s dream come true. Thank you."
Thompson was greeted by his close friend and podcast co-host, TOWIE star Pete Wicks, as he left the jungle.
His girlfriend, Love Island star Zara McDermott, later posted a video to her Instagram showing the moment she watched as he was crowned the winner.
Which contestants left I'm a Celebrity?
MasterChef critic Grace Dent was the first celeb to leave the jungle in 2023 — but she wasn't voted out by the public.
Grace was forced to withdraw on "medical grounds" after just eight days in the camp.
Grace's departure was followed by Jamie Lynn Spears, who also left for health reasons.
Other than those two shock exits, the eliminations were decided by the public and the celebrity with the least votes was sent packing each night of the show's final week.
Each night, viewers watched as Ant and Dec entered the camp to reveal who the viewers had voted to save — and which one was being evicted from the jungle.
Seven celebrities were evicted from the I'm a Celebrity Camp before the show's finale.
They were:
- This Morning host Josie Gibson – SEVENTH EVICTION
- JLS singer Marvin Humes – SIXTH EVICTION
- Former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold – FIFTH EVICTION
- Hollyoaks star Nick Picard – FOURTH EVICTION
- First Dates star Fred Sirieix – THIRD EVICTION
- YouTuber Nella Rose – SECOND EVICTION
