Why did Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark break up?

TAYSHIA Adams and Zac Clark got engaged after the season 16 finale of The Bachelorette.

On November 22, 2021, it was announced that Tayshia and Zac had ended their engagement.

Why did Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark break up?

Tayshia and Zac split just weeks after running the New York City marathon together.

It's currently unclear why the two parted ways.

A rep for the Bachelorette star stated: "Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark are no longer a couple."

The two had met while on the show back in 2020.

Zac was in competition with the other contestants to win her heart during the 16th season.

During the finale, she picked him as her final rose recipient.

Why did Tayshia Adams go to hospital?

On November 11, Tayshia shared a series of Instagram videos from a hospital.

The caption stated: "Welp, I've been here since 9:30 a.m. What a day," with a sick-faced emoji.

Tayshia previously shared: "When I say that I physically could not walk on Monday and Tuesday, I actually mean I could not walk. It was so incredibly hard."

She also mentioned how "out of it" and "completely drained" she had been.

Although fans speculated she may have been exhausted due to the marathon, she hopped on social media once more to clear up the rumors.

“Number one, I don’t want you guys to think that this had anything to do with the marathon because it actually doesn’t. … Stop associating this with the marathon. It had nothing to do with it,” the former Bachelorette, 31, explained in a series of Instagram Story videos.

She consulted her physician who immediately referred her to the emergency room.

“I actually feel amazing post-marathon,” Adams said in her social media upload. “I feel like I’ve recovered quite well. I’ve explained in my Stories the other day that, you know, Monday and Tuesday was really, like, the bulk of my pain from the marathon, but on Wednesday I was wearing heels and I truthfully was feeling great, but then that night, I had gone to bed and I was, like, tossing and turning all night because of stomach pain.”

“Just to preface, I was experiencing a little bit of pain a couple of days prior, but nothing like this,” she recalled. “It was like level 9.5, 10 pain … So, it was something I never experienced before."

“Thankfully, we were able to rule out things like it’s my appendix or kidney stones,” Adams continued.

“[It] just looks like it was a really bad kidney infection, which, also not really good. They were thinking about possibly keeping me overnight just because my pain kept coming back, but I thought it’d be best to go back home, sleep in my own bed [and] do all those things.”

She continued in her post, “So, I have medication [and] I’ve kind of just been laying low, like, laying in bed just because my stomach still feels kind of wonky. It’s getting better. [A] tad bit of pain but just feels not right quite yet, but this morning, thankfully, I’m, like, on the up-and-up.”

Is Tayshia co-hosting The Bachelorette?

Bachelor Nation was first introduced to her back on season 23 of The Bachelor after she was a contestant.

She later went on to star in the sixth season of Bachelor In Paradise and took over as The Bachelorette in season 16 after Clare Crawley's dramatic early exit.

After she met her happily ever after, Zac Clark, she then took over as co-host of The Bachelorette following Chris Harrison's departure.

She is currently co-hosting Michelle Young's season of The Bachelorette alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe.
