This weekend has seen people getting fully into the festive spirit of things by downing the odd spirit or two – but for some it ended rather badly.
With only two more weekends left before Christmas people hit the town hard this weekend.
Many in festive jumpers and fancy dress poured onto the streets of Newcastle, and the rest of the UK, to celebrate.
However things didn't go quite to plan for some revellers, as a woman was pictured with blood pouring down her face.
Many people were seen being put into the back of police vans as their boozy night came to an abrupt end.
Now we're well into the festive season the Christmas parties are coming thick and fast, which means having to cope with the dreaded consequences the next day – as these revellers will no doubt be finding out today.
But the Sun Online pulled together some tips to survive a hangover, especially if you're having to head into work with a sore head.
This week we also told how more than half of the nation are officially sick of Christmas – having already overindulged in food, drink and festive socialising.
