Halloween revellers hit pubs and bars clad in fancy dress to celebrate the spooky holiday in the rain last night.
Manchester’s clubbers braved the rain to celebrate Halloween dressed in a range of costumes from Scooby-Doo characters to the go-to devil fancy dress.
While some sensibly took raincoats and umbrellas, others ended up drenched as Manchester was hit with yet more rain on Saturday night.
The Met Office extended the heavy rain warning to cover the weekend with some parts of Britain experiencing four inches of rainfall and 55 mph wind gusts.
But Halloween revellers were determined not to be deterred by the miserable weather and decided to make the most of the weekend regardless, hitting the streets and doing their best to shelter from the downpour.

The Met Office extended the heavy warning as gales and downpours continued to batter the UK in the aftermath of Storm Babet.
Rail Services in some areas were suspended for the entire weekend.
South East England, North East Scotland and Northern Ireland are on flood watch this weekend as motorists were warned to expect difficult road conditions.
The Met Office still has yellow warnings in place for some areas of the UK, with Central and Eastern Scotland warmed of flooding until midnight tomorrow.
Parts of southern and eastern England have been warned there is a chance of power cuts and delays to transport until midnight today.
While some clubbers brought umbrellas, others held coats and jackets over their heads
Portsmouth was also hit by torrential rain last night, and these clubbers brought plastic boxes with them to the club to try and protect their hair from the rain as they queued
