A RANGE Rover ploughed into a busy central London bus stop this morning, leaving nine people in hospital after the horror smash.
Terrified pedestrians watched as the V6 Range Rover Vogue lost control and veered off the road towards a bus stop in Aldwych at around 3.30am.
The London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance rushed nine people, including the driver, to hospital following the smash just outside the Indian Embassy.
The £50,000 motor was crumpled in the crash as it also took down a traffic light after first colliding with the busy bus stop.
A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
A Met Police spokesperson added: "Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

The condition of the eight wounded pedestrians has not yet been revealed.
Details of the injured are being withheld until more information about their condition has been updated, confirmed the force.

Aldwych is now closed in both directions between Waterloo Bridge and Kingsway, as a police cordon is in place.
