Kim Jong-Un ‘in grave danger following emergency heart surgery’ after missing huge military parade last week – The Sun

NORTH Korean leader Kim Jong-Un is in grave danger after an emergency heart surgery earlier this month, reports say.

A source with direct knowledge of the situation told CNN Monday the US is monitoring intelligence on Kim's health.

North Korea's supreme leader missed the celebration of his grandfather Kim Il Sung's birthday on April 15, raising speculation about his health.

He was last seen on April 11 at a government meeting, CNN reported.

Kim is currently recovering at a villa in the resort town of Hyangsan after undergoing a "cardiovascular surgical procedure" on April 12, South Korean news agency Daily NK reported.

Kim's health had deteriorated in recent months because of heavy smoking, obesity, and overwork, according to the Daily NK report.
