The King was seen laughing as Hugh Bonneville weaved a few royal jokes into his presenting gig during the Coronation Concert last night.
The Downton Abbey actor had the perilous task of hosting’s the star-studded concert at Windsor Castle.
Lip reader Jacqui Press said that the actor made the King chuckle when he referred to him as ‘The man formerly known as Prince.’
The actor made the joke in reference to the late singer Prince, who decided to go by ‘The Artist Formerly Known as Prince’ in the 1990s.
Events to mark Saturday’s Coronation will culminate today with a ‘day of service’, dubbed the Big Help Out, as senior royals join volunteers around the country.
The King and Queen will not be appearing publicly today. Other royals will be out and about with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester visiting the Coptic Orthodox Church in London where young volunteers will be hosting a coronation street party.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will take part in a puppy class at the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association Training Centre in Reading.
The Big Help Out day is organised by The Together Coalition and partners such as The Scouts, the Royal Voluntary Service and faith groups from across the United Kingdom. Six million people and more than 33,000 charitable organisations are expected to participate in the volunteering initiative today.

Prince William paid a moving tribute to his father, telling him: ‘Pa, we are all so proud of you.’
He also told King Charles that he had no doubt the late Queen Elizabeth, his ‘very proud mother’, would be ‘fondly’ looking down from heaven.
William delivered his emotional address from Windsor Castle last night as the nation celebrated the crowning of King Charles and Queen Camilla with the official Coronation Concert, a glorious mix of music, dance and the spoken word.
Meghan Markle has been spotted hiking without her husband Prince Harry near their $14million Montecito mansion – hours after missing King Charles’ coronation.
The Duchess of Sussex was joined on the fresh-air outing by her friends, Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak, in California on Sunday.
It was the first time she had been seen in public since her father-in-law’s coronation on Saturday.
Meghan was noticeably absent from the regal festivities in the UK this weekend, as she remained in the U.S. to celebrate her son Archie’s ‘lowkey’ birthday at their Montecito home.
