A MAN has been charged with the murder of a teenager after her body was found with stab wounds.
Mehak Sharma, 19, was knifed to death in Croydon, South London on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services raced to the home on Ash Tree Way around 4pm,but she tragically could not be saved.
Sahil Sharma, 23, has now been charged with the teen's murder.
He is due to appear in Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
The alleged killer was also hurt in the alleged attack, with Met Police confirming he suffered minor head injuries.

Cops previously said: "A 19-year-old woman was found suffering stab injuries and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
"The woman is believed to be an Indian national who is thought to have arrived in the United Kingdom relatively recently."
The force is still asking witnesses to come forward, adding: "Anyone with information that may assist the investigation, including anyone who saw or heard a disturbance on Sunday afternoon at the address in Ash Tree Way, is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 4546/29oct."
