The Hammers met fellow London side Fulham today at Craven Cottage in the Premier League.
Prior to the 3pm kick-off clash, a literal boatload of Irons fans had a clash of their own, the Hammersmith Bridge.
Making the short journey down the Thames from East to West London to face Fulham has been a tradition for several Hammers fans.
All was going as planned when suddenly, the boat crashed into Hammersmith Bridge and made a loud and alarming crashing noise, bringing the vessel and the matchday travellers to a standstill.

A video shows a stacked boat carrying the supporters travelling along the river, whilst they sing a rendition of their song ‘I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles’ in good spirits.
However, much like the lyrics later indicate their ‘dreams faded and died’ of smoothly making it to the game.
The 140-capacity river party boat, Emerald of London then makes an almighty crash sound despite the relatively small collision that brings the singing to a stop as well as raising concern to onlookers crossing the bridge.
According to those at the scene, the fans remained unscathed from the incident and the boat only suffered some minor damage.

The footage shows that the boat was forced to make a U-turn and presumably turn back to somewhere the supporters could get off at and make alternative arrangements to make it to the game.
That then led to a chorus of boos from those travelling on it.
However, this wasn’t the worst sinking feeling that claret and blue faithful would experience.
When the fans arrived at Craven Cottage they witnessed David Moyes’ men get battered 5-0 with three goals coming in the first half.
The result leaves West Ham only three points in front of today’s hosts, leaving The Hammers in 9th and The Cottagers in 10th respectively.
