TRAGIC Sara Sharif's murder remains a mystery as police are still unable to establish a cause of death, an inquest heard.
The ten-year-old was found dead at a home in Woking, Surrey, on August 10 after her dad Urfan called 999 from Pakistan.
An international manhunt is now underway for him, his partner Beinash Batool and Sara’s uncle Faisal Malik.
Woking Coroner's Court heard today how Sara's precise cause of death is "not yet ascertained" but is likely to be "unnatural".
A previous post-mortem revealed she suffered “multiple and extensive injuries which are likely to have been caused over a sustained and extended period of time”.
Coroner Simon Wickens adjourned the inquest until February 29 next year pending a police investigation.

National Crime Agency cops have been working with Interpol and Pakistani authorities to track Urfan, 41, down.
It is understood the dad fled capital Islamabad with Beinash and Faisal on August 9 – the day before Sara was found dead.
Pakistan police previously said they found evidence the dad briefly returned to his family home in Jhelum.
They are now widening their search area for the on-the-run trio as the net closes in.

There is no extradition treaty between Pakistan and the UK, which would make it difficult to bring the suspects back for questioning.
Sara's mum Olga Sharif, 36, who lives in Yeovil, Somerset, said: "Urfan's days on the run are numbered.
"Until he is arrested I can't have any sense of closure or security over what happened to my daughter.
"They are going to catch up with them soon."
The mum also rubbished claims from Sara's uncle that the youngster died after she fell down the stairs.
Cops are not looking for anyone else in connection with Sara’s death.
