Neighbours left stunned by bizarre handwritten note taped to pole – and say author ‘does not seem stable’ | The Sun

NEIGHBOURS have been left stunned after finding a bizarre handwritten note taped to a telephone pole.

The letter revealed the many requests of a Sydney bachelor, who was later labelled "unstable" when his plea for love went viral online.

The "modest" man describes himself as a good-looking, easygoing chap.

Before listing down his specific requirements, the unknown writer puts a brief disclaimer asking readers not to "judge me or think bad of me".

"I don't see the woman as a product of display or to use, she worth much more than that," he added.

"I'm not after temporary sexual relationships, and I'm not after any financial benefits, please don't offer me that."

The man then makes sure to give a brief physical description of himself, stating he measures 180cm and weights 75kg.

"I'm after a serious, long official marriage relationship with a woman that is kind, loyal, financially capable and free in her time, doesn't have long daily commitment," the anonymous bachelor continued.

"Please, I'm sick of people playing around.

"If the above is you and you're interested, contact me."

The man's plea for love was spotted by a fellow Sydney resident, who shared the bizarre note on Reddit captioning it: "Thought I would spread the message."

They added that copies of the note were plastered everywhere.

One social media user expressed concern about the man's mental health, writing: "I'm trying not to judge the guy, but that does not scream mentally stable."

Others wished the bachelor luck on his quest for the perfect lover, with a few chiming in with jokes.

"Financially capable AND free with my time? We live in Sydney. Pick one, man," one woman replied.

"I hope this man finds what he is looking for," another added.

A third joked: "He should have found a wooden pole, then he could post it on Timber."

"Hinge really that bad these days huh," another follower replied.
