Shocking moment man cycles backwards… but there's an explanation | The Sun

THIS is the eerie moment a man was filmed "cycling backwards" in the middle of the street.

The video was posted on TikTok and left stunned viewers claiming it was a real-life "glitch in the Matrix".

In the 14-second clip, a man wearing a red jacket and white trousers can be seen cycling in Islington, London.

But viewers were shocked when they realised the unidentified man was pedaling in reverse along a driving lane.

He appeared to be turning his head backwards every few seconds to check the road behind him.

TikTok user @m.combe07 took to social media to show the astonishing scene at Holloway Road.

Some claimed the moment to be something out of a film as the man looked like being "on a scene played backwards".

@Yinkz said: "It's like they have reversed time"

But others were less surprised branding the situation as "an average day in Holloway Road".

One user blasted: "You shouldn't question it anymore if it's in Islington."

This comes after a viral Tiktok video clip showed the moment a woman was filmed "stuck on a loop" in the middle of a busy street.

In the 19-second clip, a woman wearing a winter coat and jeans while holding a handbag and facemask can be seen standing beside the back of a car.

She appears to be smiling at a digital camera before turning the device around every few seconds.

Only the woman's wrist was moving as she flicked the camera back and forth, with her arm staying outstretched in the same position for the entire length of the video.
