THIS is the moment heavily armed officers surrounded a suspected gun dealer who was in a car with a woman.
The footage shows National Crime Agency officers armed with machine guns dragging the man from his car and then surrounding him as he was face down in the street.
The suspect's car was boxed in by the NCA on Prescot Road in the Kensington area of Liverpool on the night of October 24.The procedure is known as a "hard stop"inlaw enforcement circles.
He was then pulled from the car and forced to lay down in the street as armed officers trained their weapons on him.
Once the man was on the floor the woman in the front passenger seat was led to safety by an NCA officer.
Dramatic footage of the raid outside a solicitor's office was later shared on WhatsApp.
A Merseyside man has since been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, conspiracy to posses criminal property and conspiracy to transfer prohibited weapons.
A spokesperson for the NCA said to The Sun: "Michael Riccio, 36, from Merseyside, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, conspiracy to possess criminal property and conspiracy to transfer prohibited weapons."
Riccio was appeared at Wirral Magistrates last Thursday when he was remanded into custody until his next hearing on 23 November.
