A YOUNG boy has died in hospital after emergency services rushed to his home.
Cops and paramedics were scrambled to an address in Bestwood, Nottingham, around 8.30am on Monday where they found the child who needed medical attention.
The youngster was rushed to hospital where he sadly passed away shortly after.
It is not yet known how the boy, who has not been named or aged, died.
Officers have since visited the scene and carried out enquiries.
A file is now being prepared for the coroner.

Detective Inspector Matthew Basford said: “This is utterly tragic and our thoughts remain with this boy’s parents and his wider family.
"We ask that their privacy is respected at this extremely difficult time.”
