Video shows man open fire in broad daylight on Brooklyn street

A gunman was captured on surveillance video popping off shots at another man during a broad-daylight blitz in Brooklyn last month.

The brief video, captured around 3:50 p.m. July 5 on Ralph Avenue near East New York Avenue in Brownsville but released overnight, shows a suspect walking from the street onto the sidewalk and firing down the block.

Cops say he was targeting another man who got out of a Jeep and fired several rounds back — which was not captured on the video. No one was hurt.

The shooter then ran into a black Nissan Altima and was last seen heading south on Ralph Avenue toward Sutter Avenue, according to police. No arrests have been made and the suspect is still at large.

The incident came amid a spate of gunplay citywide.
