A 29-year-old woman claims her boss at the Insignia hotel “viciously sexually assaulted” her in a guest room just two weeks into her job on the front desk at the sleek new Brooklyn hotspot.
The woman, identified as “Jane Doe” in court papers, says she was “blackout” drunk when the hotel’s general manager, 49-year-old Peter Reyes, brought her back to the Insignia in Sunset Park and attacked her.
“The last thing I remember is drinking a Corona,” the woman told The Post, after she and Reyes went out for dinner and drinks with co-workers at a nearby restaurant in October.
She says she woke up the next morning in pain — just as Reyes was leaving, according to a suit she filed in Brooklyn Supreme court.
“I was naked and my nipples felt like someone had been biting them,” the woman told The Post.
She sought treatment and got a rape kit at a hospital, then reported the alleged assault to the hotel’s human resources department, she claims.
She’s since left for another job.
Reyes no longer works at the Insignia, according to an employee who answered the phone Friday. He could not be reached for comment.
“We do not comment on ongoing litigation,” said a rep for Choice Hotels International, the Insignia chain’s franchiser.
