Kimberley recently said Girls Aloud are ‘not ready to get back on stage yet’ in the wake of Sarah’s death.

The West End star revealed that she and the girls are not planning on performing together any time soon following the passing of their beloved bandmate Sarah.

In October 2021, the Love Machine ruled out a reunion for the Biology girl band as they were not in ‘that headspace right now’ following Sarah’s death.

She said: ‘It’s not really something we’re even thinking about obviously, with the situation as it is. No one is even in that headspace right now.’

In February, Kimberley told MailOnline that there were no plans for a reunion in the immediate future.

She said: ‘It’s amazing that we’re coming up to 20 years and there’ll be lots of reminiscing personally for us as a group, the four of I’m sure will be looking back at old memories.

‘But I think that our heads are not in a space to be doing anything as a band, it wouldn’t feel right without Sarah. But yeah, we’ll definitely be doing lots of reminiscing, it’s amazing that it’s been that long. 20 years, it’s crazy!’

Kimberley added that for the remaining members, the occasion will be significantly poignant, adding: ‘It feels like quite a big landmark for us, it’s going to be very bittersweet. But we’ll just deal with it as best as we can at the time.’

Nadine revealed last year she believed she had received signs from her late Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah, including when she was at home and ‘something flew off the shelf’.

The singer, described the rough time she endured when Sarah passed away in September 2021.

Speaking on The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio 1 in October, Nadine told how she had filmed Irish musical talent show Last Singer Standing where she thinks Sarah sent her signs of her presence.

She said: ‘I was so close to her in life. There’s definitely been things, she’s made her presence known a few times. As I was shooting the show, it was right in the middle of it all and people were being so kind.

‘There was a couple of days when the headphones just flew across the table and it happened three days in a row and the makeup girls were saying, ‘that has to be Sarah.’

‘One night I was taking about me in my house and something flew off the shelf. I was like, ‘Is this Sarah?’ I’m still thinking she’s going to phone.’

Sarah passed away on September 5th 2021, with her death confirmed by her mother Maria in a statement shared to the star’s Instagram account, which said that he ‘slipped away peacefully’ after her cancer battle.
