Hollyoaks star Claire Cooper has revealed that her baby was taken to the hospital after a 'tough' medical emergency.
Sharing a heartbreaking picture of her little one Fiáin-Luna cuddling a soft toy while in a hospital cot, the Channel 4 star told fans how she has been 'hit by a curveball out of nowhere.'
Claire, 42, welcomed the arrival of her second child, Fiáin-Luna, with Irish actor and fellow Hollyoaks star Emmett J Scanlan, 44, in November last year.
The pair already share a son, Ocean-Torin.
The star captioned the image of her tot recovering on a hospital ward: "We had a very tough start to the weekend, so glad our little love is on the mend, curveballs come out of nowhere, and sometimes it really does hit damn hard," followed by a wounded heart emoji.
The actress is yet to confirm exactly why her daughter was rushed in for medical care.
Claire met her other half Emmett when they were both starring on Hollyoaks, with Claire playing Jacqui McQueen and Emmett playing businessman Brendan Brady.
The couple tied the knot in 2015, welcoming their first son Ocean-Torin in July 2020.
The couple bravely revealed that Ocean was a rainbow baby, opening up about a miscarriage the year before he was born. Emmett said: "July of last year, we lost our baby, and in the process, my wife was left fighting for her life. Exactly 12 months later and after 40 hours of labour with an emergency C-section, Ocean-Torin was born.
"The trauma her body and mind went through in that year is beyond anything I can possibly comprehend. Helpless, all I could do was hold her hand. And once again, I fell in love just a little bit more.'"
