This Morning's Josie Gibson has revealed her plans to spend Christmas at luxury £500 a night Welsh hotel after her stint on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.
The 38 year old mum of one shared her plans on the Tuesday, 19 December episode of This Morning, as she revealed that she will be staying at the five-star The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
Josie made the comments during Clodagh McKenna's cooking segment of the show, as she said: "That's one of the nicest things I've ever tasted on This Morning. Those mushrooms are beautiful – I love picky food and that was gorgeous!"
"Do you think you'll do that [cook these canapes] at Christmas?" Clodagh replied, to which Josie said: "Well, I'm not cooking this year – but if I was then I definitely would!"
Josie then revealed that she is heading away for Christmas this year – a break away from tradition as she usually stays at home with her five year old son, Reggie.
"I'm going to Celtic Manor," said Josie, smiling. "I normally cook or go round to a friend's house, but now I thought I want to try Christmas away."
Josie recently celebrated as she made a triumphant return back to British TV. She was back on our screens on Monday, 18 December, as she got a hero's welcome from her co-presenter Craig Doyle and the rest of the This Morning crew.
Taking to her Instagram a day later, Josie posted a snap of herself wearing a cream long-sleeved top and sparkly silver skirt. She also donned a jungle hat which was provided to her by producers amid her This Morning return.
Her followers and fans were quick to comment and praise the star, but her ex-campmate, Jamie-Lynn Spears was one of the first.
Jamie Lynn added a number of fire emojis as she praised Josie for "looking great," as Lisa Snowdon, who is one of the This Morning family, added a number of love heart emojis.
Josie finished I'm A Celebrity 2023 in fourth place, and when her name was announced, she couldn't have been happier to get home to her son, Reggie.
After she and five year old Reggie finally reunited, Josie admitted that he had apparently been 'saving all his naughtiness for her'.
When the programme ended, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly went live on their Instagram account for the famous jungle club series that they do throughout the series.
Josie revealed: “Oh my god, they have been the best 24 hours of my whole entire life.”
Ant, 48, then asked the This Morning presenter for an update on little Reggie, to which she replied: “He’s adorable, but he’s saved up all of his naughtiness for me.”
Ant and Dec then warned her that that’s what little ones do, but Josie soon added that he was “lovely.”
