Leonardo DiCaprio ‘travels around London in this unusual luxury transport in a bid to avoid traffic’
Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly found this unique way to travel around London as he attempts to avoid the London traffic.
While the other 8.9million of the population wait frustratedly in traffic jams The Sun has claimed that the actor has been using a diplomatic motor to zip around London in recent weeks in a bid to make his journeys through the capital faster.
Using a vehicle owned by a diplomat means Leo, 48, is apparently able to ignore the usual speeding rules and limits as he travels through the city.
Although the cars are technically still bound by UK law, they are often ignored by the police when it comes to traffic offences and are driven by drivers who are protected from prosecution by diplomatic immunity.
Using his platform to his advantage, the star has allegedly been chaperoned around in a £80,000 bright blue Range Rover with blacked out windows belonging to an Ivory Coast diplomat.

A source said: ‘It’s no secret that Leo has friends in high places but even by his standards this is well connected.
‘All diplomatic cars are clearly recognisable via their number plates and more often than not the person at the wheel has diplomatic immunity so speeding or jumping a red light now and again wouldn’t be a concern.
‘He even had it drop him off and pick him up at Chiltern Firehouse, where he likes to hang out in the capital. ‘It’s alright for some, eh?’

The revelation comes after the star kept his usual low profile as he joined stunning models Georgia Grace Martin and Nour Rizk at the Chiltern Firehouse in London on Saturday.
The Hollywood heartthrob shielded his famous features behind a face mask and donned an LA Laker’s baseball cap as he arrived at the swanky hotspot.
Leo cut a causal figure in a black leather bomber jacket which he teamed with jeans and layered over a simple T-shirt.
It comes after the Titanic actor has been at the centre of a controversy – following his public kiss with Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 25, in Ibiza last week.

And The Hollywood star has received some backlash on Twitter for dating yet another younger model.
The Revenant sensation was seen in a passionate clinch with his new flame Vittoria during a recent visit to Hi Ibiza nightclub on the Spanish party island.
He has a reputation for only dating women 25 or under and famously tends to break up with them after they pass the milestone – as he did with his last serious girlfriend Camila Morrone, now 26.
After the pictures emerged with Vittoria, many were quick to ridicule him for the fact it wouldn’t be a long relationship as she will turn 26 next June.
One wrote: ‘She gonna be gone before this tweet is done,’ while another joked: ‘One more year and he won’t look at her again.’
