Lorraine Kelly left open-mouthed as Jamie Laing unveils ‘tattoo’ of her face live on-air

Lorraine Kelly was left open-mouthed as former Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing unveiled a tattoo of her face, live on-air.

Jamie, 35, and his wife Sophie Habboo, 30, made an appearance on Lorraine's ITV morning show as they discussed their marriage and upcoming podcast tour.

The interview descended into chaos as Jamie excitedly told Lorraine that he had "done something quite wild".

Lorraine, 63, replied: "Go on then. I'm very nervous," as she laughed.

Jamie continued: "Now that I'm here, I find it a bit strange that I've done it," before Lorraine gave him the green light to go ahead.

He said: "So, manifesting is everything, so I got a tattoo."

As he rolled up the sleeve of his black T-shirt, Jamie said: "It hurts a little bit."

A black and white print of Lorraine's face could be seen on Jamie's shoulder and the presenter's mouth dropped open and she covered her mouth in shock, as Sophie laughed.

Lorraine exclaimed numerous times: "You did not!" as Jamie replied: "I know. Is that really bad?"

She shrieked: "Oh my god. It is really really bad. Please tell me that can rub off."

Continuing to show off the inking, Jamie said: "No, we did it two days ago," whilst a still-stumped Lorraine replied: "You are incorrigible."

She tried to recover, telling Jamie: "It's lovely. It's very flattering, I have to say. I mean the depiction is very pretty," as Sophie chimed in: "Well that's there forever, then."

Jamie then confessed to feeling "embarrassed" as Lorraine told him that he didn't need to be and that she's "honoured".

It was not confirmed if the tattoo is indeed permanent or whether it is a temporary inking.

Toward the end of the interview, Lorraine told a laughing Sophie that she "deserves a medal" for putting up with Jamie.

Elsewhere, during the chat, Sophie said that Jamie made a "big mistake" when planning their honeymoon.

He booked them to go to Panama in South America during the summer – which meant that the temperature and humidity was almost unbearable.

During Jamie and Sophie's appearance on Lorraine, Jamie also threw his support behind his pal and former Made in Chelsea co-star, Sam Thompson, who is starring on the latest series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The star-studded line-up was revealed on Monday, 13 November, and it includes Sam, This Morning's Josie Gibson, and First Dates' Fred Sirieix.

Jamie said that he thinks Sam will be great on I'm A Celebrity, as he said Sam is "so excited" to go on it.
