Maya Jama fans are convinced that the Love Island presenter is back together with her ex partner Stormzy after her latest Instagram post, as rumours continue that the pair have rekindled their romance.
Maya Jama took to Instagram to officially announce that she will be the host of the new Love Island Games, which will see the islanders from previous seasons go head to head in brand new challenges.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that ex-boyfriend Stormzy was quick to like the video just three minutes after Maya set it live.
One fan commented: “Stormy liking this after 3 minutes of posting”, while another pointed out: “And liked by Stormzy”.
A third responded to Maya’s news and commented: “That’s exciting but we’re more excited about you and @stormzy”, while another said: “Is that @stormzy liking your post?”
“Stormzy liking this, the world is healing!”, another fan added.
The popular presenter and Stormzy started dating in 2016 and decided to go their separate ways four years later in 2020.
As rumours swirl that Stormzy and Maya Jama have reunited,the rap star has reportedly flown his former flame to a £2,700-a-night villain Greece as a late birthday present.
Speculation has been mounting that Maya and Stormzy have found their way back to each other as fans realised the former lovers were having a sunshine break in the same place.
A source told The Sun : "Stormzy is mad for Maya and has spent huge amounts of money taking her on a luxury holiday."
They added: "He chartered a private jet to Greece then they flew into the resort by helicopter. It’s all very romantic. The Amanzoe is incredibly pricey and they’ve been waited on hand and foot.
"It was Maya’s birthday earlier this month and this trip is a bit of a belated birthday present from Stormzy to Maya. She means the world to him and he wants her to be treated like a queen."
Opening up about her relationship with Stormzy earlier this year, Maya told British Vogue: “None of us really knew the level of importance it held to a certain group of people, us being together.”
Discussing what they had in common, Maya said: “We were both super ambitious. We were both from similar upbringings and we were both just little grafters that have made something good of ourselves.”
