Multi-platinum rock band Staind recently released a new single, “Here and Now,” and an accompanying video.
“Here and Now,” which is an emotionally charged ballad, is the fourth track from the band’s forthcoming album, Confessions of the Fallen, due out on September 22nd via Alchemy Recordings/BMG.
The video, directed by Bradley Golowin, nicely captures the joy and pain of real-life moments that shape us all. The performance footage of the band further boosts the intensity of the song.
“Here and now/After everything we thought we knew,” frontman Aaron Lewis sings in the chorus. “Broken lies and shattered truths/Lost and found/Every memory that’s bleeding through/They all just seem to lead me back to you.”
Staind previously released “In This Condition,” “Cycle of Hurting” and debut single, “Lowest In Me” from the upcoming album. “Lowest In Me” reached No. 1 for two consecutive weeks at active rock and Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock chart.
Confessions of the Fallen is Staind’s first studio album in 12 years.
