Victoria Beckham marks Romeo’s 21st birthday
Victoria Beckham was all set to marry an electrician before she met and tied the knot with the love of her life David Beckham.
The 49-year-old was engaged to Mark Wood during her teenage years and the pair lived together at her parents’ home in Goff’s Oak, Hertfordshire.
The former couple met when she was 14-years-old, with Mark working for her parents’ electrical company.
Mark asked Victoria to marry him in 1994, just after she auditioned to be in the Spice Girls.
Posh Spice was clearly besotted by the electrician as she began calling herself Victoria Adams Wood and the name was also used on early Spice Girls merchandise.

Unfortunately, the pair weren’t meant to be together and the fashion designer called it quits and ended the six-year relationship.
Speaking to Channel 4 at the time, the now mum-of-four said: “It wasn’t the right person for me, I wasn’t enjoying myself, so that had to end.
“But I didn’t give him the ring back either! I’ve still got it because it was a wicked ring. Isn’t that horrible? It makes me sound really unrealistic,” she joked.
Mark at the time was heartbroken over the split and expressed his sadness, but despite the pair parting ways, he wished her all the best.

He told The People in 1997: “It was a very special relationship. But that part of my life is over.
“It’s sad because we were together for a long time. But she’s got what she always wanted and I’m proud of her.”
Victoria went on to start dating David, 48, and just 10 months later they announced their engagement.
The loved-up couple got married on July 4, 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.
The two share four children, Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and 12-year-old Harper.
In his new Netflix series Beckham, Victoria opened up for the first time about David’s alleged affair in 2003.
The former pop star claimed it was the hardest time in her life and “the most unhappy I’ve ever been”.
