IT might still only be October, but some parents are already getting ready for Christmas.

The savvy shoppers have been making the most of the festive bargains in Aldi, but you'll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on them.

The wooden toy range has been a favourite for parents, with some taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to rave about their purchases.

"Wooden sets are in Aldi today. I’d be quick as they’re very popular," one mum wrote in the group.

"I know you can check online for specific things in stores but you’re probably just better chancing it.

"Christmas and birthdays sorted for my two," she added.
