A WOMAN has opened up about motherhood and has claimed that she hates being a mum.

Not only this, but mum-of-two Rae also explained that she wouldn’t recommend getting pregnant to anyone.



As a result of the pressures of being a girl mum, the travel agent shared that at times she just wants to run and hide.

Opening up about her life on social media, Rae revealed: “I actually hate being a mom, I'm not okay. 

“I try my best because that’s what I’m supposed to do.

“But I don’t recommend it to anybody.”

She then wrote: “I said what I said.” 

Rae later penned: “As long as your kids are well taken care of and loved, that’s really all that matters. 

“Nobody said we had to enjoy the ride.”

When it comes to mum guilt and burnout, Rae explained: “The physical and emotional needs are overwhelming.

If you’re wondering if Rae would ever consider having more children, she claimed: “Not in my next life!!!”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @_just_a_mama, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 11,700 views.

Social media users appreciated Rae’s honesty and were eager to open up about their experiences of motherhood in the comments. 

One person said: “Thank you for sharing. you are not alone. I’m the best mom because I HAVE to be, but I’m not enjoying motherhood.” 

In response, Rae replied: “We gotta do what we gotta do.” 

Another added: “Girl literally me every day.” 

A third commented: “Yes! Especially when you have little support.”

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “Thank you so much for your vulnerability. Not enough moms talk about this.”

Whilst another chimed in: “I appreciate your transparency.” 

At the same time, another mother shared: “I love my daughter but when I see people pregnant I say good luck.”

To this, Rae agreed: “Same.” 

As a result of Rae’s claims, another user asked: “Ever thought about giving your child or children for adoption?”
