I’m 37 and haven’t aged in 10 years – my hacks for youthful skin and two free tips that have nothing to do with skincare | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed that she is 37 but hasn’t aged in 10 years.

Beauty fan Stef explained that her youthful looks are all thanks to seven simple tips, including two free tricks that have nothing to do with skincare.

If you have tried every anti-ageing cream on the market and nothing has worked, Stef has created a fool-proof seven-step guide to look your best at any age.

Sharing her advice on social media, the wellness and spirituality fan explained: “Here’s exactly what I did to stop ageing for 10 years.

“Ageing well is about taking care of your health, your mind, and your body.

“It does require you to stay dedicated to being healthy, stress management, sleeping well, and stimulating collagen whenever possible.

AGE LESS

I'm a 42-year-old mum with no wrinkles – I swear by my DIY facial mist

“Starting young is also key as you produce more collagen and get more out of treatments when you're younger.”

The skincare whizz, who is also a meditation instructor, then revealed: “So I turned 37 last month and I have not aged in 10 years.

“Many of you have asked me what exactly I've done, and this is the whole breakdown.

“So I started young. I started at 27. I wasn't good with skincare at all.

WINDOW PAIN

I’ve found the best 99p trick to help get rid of condensation this winter

“I did treatments like PRP, PRF, micro-needling. I did a bunch of stuff very, very early.

“Half of that stuff I wouldn't do now and I don't recommend, which I'll get into. But I did start early because collagen production is really good.

“When you're young, you produce a lot more collagen. When you're older, when you do these treatments for bio-stimulators, you don't produce as much collagen.

Bio-stimulator treatments are non-surgical tweakments which involve injecting a mixture of platelet-rich plasma and hyaluronic acid deep into the dermis.

This triggers the body's own natural self-healing response, plumping and lifting the skin.

“You're not gonna get as much bang for your buck when you do these treatments. You're gonna need a lot more because of that. It was a lot cheaper to start earlier, so if you have the option, start early.”

Stef then stressed the importance of fitness and diet, as well as skincare, as she added: “Start inside out – I took fitness and nutrition very seriously, early in my 20s and in my mid-twenties.

“Now, not so much. I'm not religious with it, but I get my veggies in, my vitamins.

“I run around my toddler all day, so I'm on my feet all day as well.

“Prioritise some sort of exercise and nutrition. Basics, you know, everybody tells you that, it is super annoying, but it's true. It works.

“Next, you’re gonna start biostimulators very early. Again, you wanna start these early so that you don't age.

“The next one is skincare. I don't spend a lot on skincare.

“It's all Korean stuff and it's all very inexpensive, but it works really well.

“Get yourself a retinol, get yourself a sunscreen, get yourself some sort of acid, an AHA/BHA/PHA. All of those are really great.”

Not only this, but Stef also highlighted how reducing stress can help with ageing, as she continued: “The next one is very important – it's prioritising stress reduction and emotion process.

“If you leave emotions in your body, that's going to eat you.

“Our cells are talking to each other every day.

“Make sure you get enough rest, so sleep. Make sure you're in your body and it is comfy for you. A safe space.

“Self-care is about creating safety in your body and not really pampering yourself, you know what I mean?

“Focus on pride. Nobody gets in the way of my peace. This is how I don't have any resting lines. I don't have Botox.  I don't use Botox.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @get_wavy, has clearly impressed many, as at the time of writing, it had amassed a whopping 114,300 views in just two days.

Social media users were left open-mouthed at Stef’s advice and many took to the comments to thank her for her recommendations.

One person said: “It’s CRAZY how you're almost 40, you look fantastic!”

Another added: “This gives me hope, I started at 26.”

A third commented: “Such good tips thank you!!”

Whilst someone else shared: “Your skin looks amazing! Thanks for sharing. We appreciate you.”
