A FOOD fan has revealed that he makes his very own KFC popcorn chicken.
So if you’re a fast food fan and want to have KFC from the comfort of your own home, without having to spend loads of money on a takeaway, you’ve come to the right place.
And for those that have joined the air fryer gang, or have asked for the handy kitchen gadget for Christmas, this is one for you.
A foodie named Max took to social media to share ‘how to make popcorn chicken’ – leaving many open-mouthed.
He said: “KFC popcorn chicken costs almost £5. Mine costs less than £1.50 and you can make it in 15 minutes. Let me show you how I made it.
“These are honestly so delicious and so easy to make. Making your own popcorn chicken isn't hard and is also less processed and healthier for you too.

“This is packed full of protein and it's a great, quick snack or can easily be made into a meal like I do with mine.”
Max then began by chopping his chicken into pieces, as he explained: “I've chopped the chicken breast into chunks, whacked it in a bowl with milk, Greek yoghurt and Maxi's all purpose seasoning, but you can use any seasoning you like.
“Give it a mix and leave it to marinate for as long as you like. I just used it straight away.
“Then we need to coat them in seasoned flour, whack them in the air fryer.

“I cooked them for 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius and they came out nice and golden.”
Then Max made his sauce, using BBQ sauce, honey, chilli flakes, garlic and butter.
He continued: “I then added all the sauce ingredients to the pan and simmered for a couple of minutes.
“The popcorn chicken is now ready. I coated mine in the sauce and then put it into a homemade wrap with some homemade coleslaw.”
As Max proudly showed off his finished popcorn chicken, he added: “Was absolutely banging. Lovely.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mealswithmax, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 790,000 views.
Social media users were impressed with Max’s recipe and were eager to take to the comments to express this.
One person said: “My mouth was watering.”
Another added: “Omg this looks lush, so simple too.”
A third commented: “I’d only get an air fryer for this.”
At the same time, another foodie wrote: “Got to try.”
Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “No way you can make them in 15 mins.”
To this, Max replied: “Five mins to chop and mix with the wet/dry ingredients. 10 mins to cook.”
