I'm a size 22 and did a huge Sainsbury's autumn clothing haul – mum's Tu's biggest fan so she tried my new dresses too | The Sun

A PLUS-SIZED fashionista has urged shopers to "run, not walk" to Sainsbury's after doing a huge clothing haul for autumn.

Poppy Adams, who lives in Edinburgh, regularly shares her shopping buys and styling tips on Instagram (@poppyadams).

The glam body-positive influencer, originally from Essex, has amassed almost 143,000 followers on the social media channel where she aims to inspire fans to "love and accept their bodies".

In a recent video, Poppy revealed she picked up a stash of new arrivals from Sainsbury's Tu Clothing range.

And the size 22 beauty picked up some treats for her mum Shelly too.

She said: "Summer is officially over, in my eyes, and autumn is my fave season to dress and style.

"Back at you with a haul & of course everything is from my faves at Tu Clothing.

"I even dragged Shellybabes into this one as she’s Sainbos biggest fan."

Poppy's standout buy was a colourful floral print midi skirt which she picked up in store for £25.

"Did someone say the perfect autumnal skirt?", she asked.

"Run, don't walk to Tu Clothing. I can see this selling out incredibly quickly."

Poppy also nabbed a brown knitted top, chunky lime green jumper and navy polo shirt to wear with the floral skirt.

"The best thing about this skirt is there are so many colors in it, so there are so many different ways you can wear it", she gushed.

"The options are endless. You've got the brown, you've got the green, you've got the navy, you've got yellow, pink, purple, black.

"I feel like if you're going to get anything, get this skirt."

The plus-sized beauty also looked ahead to Christmas as she tried on a dark green satin shirt dress.

Modelling the £25 buy, Poppy said: "Saw the colour of this, straight in my basket regardless of the shape.

"Not usually a shirt dress kinda girl.

"Without the belt, it's giving absolutely shapeless.

"With the belt, makes a huge difference. It's giving Christmassy."

Poppy continued her haul with a black jacquard flowy midi skirt for £20 which she insisted "will go with literally anything" and an oversized blue and white striped shirt for £15.

"I think this shirt is the perfect transitional piece to take you through to the colder months", she revealed.

"The second I saw this, I imagined so many different outfits, and I was like, I need you.

"We can layer, you can have it off the shoulder, you can wear it with jeans, you can wear it with a skirt. So versatile."

But she wasn't a fan of a cropped colour block cardigan, or an £18 black shirred waist midi dress.

"I'm not mad at it, but I'm not in love with it", she admitted.

"I think it might be aging me."

Instead, Poppy insisted the frock looked better on her mum Shelly.

Watching her try it on, she said: "Ooh, it looks better on you. Maybe a size smaller though because it is a 22. It looks so good on you."

And Shelly was happy to agree, as she added: "It's really soft. I can sit down in this, it's cosy. Not too shabby."

The mum also bagged a yellow and black checked midi dress which she hailed for having definition without constricting her waist, and two cardigans.

The mother and daughter duo's try on clip has racked up more than 50,000 views on Instagram, with social media users loving their picks.

One gushed: "Pair of cuties! Mum looks amazing in the yellow check dress."

A second wrote: "You both look amazing! Your mum is rocking that black dress."

A third added: "Love you Poppy but my bank balance doesn’t.
