AN INTERIOR designer has shared five hacks that can make your space feel more expensive, without breaking the bank.
So if you want your home to impress, but are stuck with a small budget, you’ve come to the right place.
Preston Konrad, an interior designer to A-list celebrities, has shared how you can make your home shine.
According to Preston, it’s time to ditch your dull rug and add a vintage rug to your living area.
Not only this, but he stressed the importance of black and white photography and sprucing up your curtains and cabinets.
Sharing his advice on social media, Preston said: “Five more easy home decor tips to make your home feel more interior designed, curated. But make it feel like you!”

He then explained: “Here’s five more things you can do in your house this week, that could help it feel a bit more interior designed, a bit more curated, and a little more luxe.
“Number one – swap out the cabinet hardware in your kitchen.
“Think of kitchen cabinet hardware kind of like the jewellery of your kitchen. You don’t have to spend tons, you can find great hardware anywhere, including this set on Amazon.
“Number two – bring in more black and white photography into your space.

“This always feels chic but you don’t need to break the bank. I took these photos on my iPhone.
“You can print them out and pop them in an Ikea frame. Just make sure that you change the photo to be black and white.”
Preston then explained why you should add a vintage rug into your front room, as he added: “Number three – bring at least one vintage rug into your space.
“It doesn’t have to be traditional, but it will help to balance out those affordable finds that you get on Wayfair, Amazon.”
Not only this, but the interior whizz also explained that if you want your home to look fabulous, you need to clear out your shelves and also get some new curtains.
He concluded: “Number four – clean out your shelves and just re-style them.
“This is super simple, grab some coffee table books, some decorative objects and have fun.
“Number five – it’s finally time to spruce up the windows.
“And you don’t need to break the bank.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @prestonkonrad, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly racked up 212,800 views.
Social media users were thankful for Preston’s advice and were eager to share this in the comments.
