Lavish lives of Wayne and Coleen Rooney’s kids – from £7k mini-golf course to EIGHTEEN bottles of Prime for 7th birthday | The Sun

WITH a former England star for a father and a fashionista mum, it’s no wonder the Rooney kids have grown up with expensive tastes.

From living it up in multi-million-pound mansions to birthday gifts that cost thousands, it seems no expense has been spared for the four children of Wayne and Coleen, both 37.

The famous family are back in the spotlight ahead of the new documentary Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story airing on Disney+ tomorrow.

It follows the legal drama between the mum-of-four and Rebekah Vardy, who she accused of leaking information to the press, but also shines a light on the toll it took on her family.

In a teaser for the doc, she said: “It was horrible because I didn't want to be around people. And that's not me at all. And I was snappy at the kids. I just hated trying to be happy.”

Here, we look into the luxurious life the couple enjoy in happier times with their sons Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.

Birthday bonanzas

If their children’s birthday parties are anything to go by, the Rooney family certainly knows how to celebrate in style.

Over the years, the couple have thrown themed bashes including ones inspired by football, Sour Patch Kids sweets and Prime energy drink.

Back in February, the couple’s fourth child, Cass, was treated to a fun-filled fifth birthday that was based on Nickelodeon's show The Loud House.

The youngster was spoiled with balloon displays and an impressive pile of presents with wrapping paper that actually has his face on it.

Among the gifts for Kit’s seventh birthday, in January, were 18 bottles of the viral sports drink Prime – at a time when there was a UK-wide shortage.

The beverage, created by YouTubers KSI and Jake Paul, was so sought after that 500ml bottles were being flogged for £20 – months earlier, a 12-pack was listed on eBay for £50,000.

Two years earlier, Kit had a football-themed party that saw the family rent out glam teepee beds for their kids to relax in, in their garden.

While the family seems relatively private about their kids’ gifts, back in 2015, Coleen and Wayne were revealed to have splashed out on a mini golf course for eldest son Kai’s sixth birthday.

The gift, which was estimated to be worth £7,000, had artificial grass that could be played on all year round and was installed in their back garden.

It was said to have taken four days to install the impressive birthday present, which was roughly 30 square metres.

'No expense spared' holidays

Most people's eyes would turn green with envy if they looked inside the Rooney kids' passports, because they are filled with stamps from luxury locations around the world.

Over the years, they have enjoyed Disney park trips, skiing holidays, trips around the US, and a “no expense spared” vacation to Dubai.

The latter holiday followed Coleen’s libel case victory against Rebekah Vardy and it seems the family were celebrating in style.

They stayed in the lavish five-star Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, which is one of the most exclusive and poshest venues in the Middle East.

Suites start from £8,700 per night and expensive offerings include a caviar bar and 2,000sq metre spa.

An insider previously told us: “Think luxury at the very highest end. They’ve flown out first class. No expense has been spared.”

During the trip, they reportedly paid £150 per person to swim with dolphins and son Klay was photographed getting a kiss from the sea creature.

It’s one of many luxury breaks the boys have enjoyed because holiday-lover mum Coleen is known to go “on dozens a year” according to an insider.

Others have included family ski trips to Verbier, Switzerland; relaxing on a chartered private yacht in Miami; and several stays at Disney theme parks.

Multimillion-pound mansions

Having grown up in multimillion-pound mansions, the Rooney kids’ lives are far apart from those of their parents.

Both Coleen – who grew up on a council estate – and Wayne lived in the working-class suburb of Croxteth and have previously spoken about money struggles.

Currently, the family lives in a £20million home, in Cheshire, which was jokingly dubbed the “Morrisons mansion” due to its sheer size and architectural design.

But don’t let the belittling nickname fool you, the palatial property – which is actually called High Lake Manor – sits on 40 acres and has an array of lavish features.

They include a full-size football pitch with a seating area and a five-a-side football pitch with changing rooms and showers.

There’s also a cinema room and a huge indoor swimming pool surrounded by a glass pavilion, a hot tub, plunge pool, steam room and more changing rooms.

Other property features include two man-made fishing lakes, an orangery, bar, TV room, snooker room and luxury car garage.

Prior to that in 2018, the family were living in Washington DC, in the US, while Wayne cashed in a cool £300,000-a-week with DC United.

There, the Rooneys stayed in a £12million mansion that had a wine cellar, a state-of-the-art gym and a cinema room.

The plush pad, in Wesley Heights, was near famous faces including Ivanka Trump and Barack Obama.

Before temporarily moving to the US, the family lived in a £6million pad in Prestbury, Cheshire, which was nicknamed “Waynesor Castle”.

The stunning six-bedroom mansion had an ensuite for every room, a cinema, jacuzzi and swimming pool.

There were also claims the home, which is rented out, had under-lawn heating and a dressing salon.

Lush holiday homes

And when the kids aren't living it up in their UK mansions, the Rooneys had a number of overseas properties to spend their time between.

They include a spectacular Barbados villa, which is worth £5million and is rented out for £25,000 a week when the family aren’t there.

The five-bed property, which is covered in photos of Hollywood icons Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, boasts an infinity pool, media room and a shared golf course.

They also have a luxury £320,000 waterfront apartment overlooking Harbor Pointe, in Port Charlotte, Florida, which was bought in 2007.

The three-bedroom condo, which has a balcony and 1,750sq ft of living space, is located in a riverside resort that offers a fitness centre and a heated pool.

Plush brand deals

The Rooney kids have had several professional photoshoots throughout their lives and it may be hoped some may follow in their model mum’s footsteps.

Last year, Kai bagged his first brand deal with Puma and several of his photos were broadcast on a giant billboard in Liverpool city centre.

He’s also posed for Cricket Fashion, which specialises in runway fashion and offers labels including Saint Laurent, Givenchy and Christian Louboutin.

Kai, who was snapped alongside Coleen, was seen sporting a £700 Amiri hoodie in one part of the shoot.

It seems the other Rooney kids may be being teed up to follow in his footsteps too, as Coleen takes them for a private photoshoot every year for their family Christmas card.

In them, the children feature in either amusing or festive scenes including one in a cosy log cabin and mocked-up police identity parade.

For several years, Coleen has used Grace Kellie Photography who charges £1,195 for The Works package, which includes mounted prints, wall art and a three-hour studio session.

£35k school feels

The Rooney kids have all been privately educated and attended some rather expensive private schools.

Last year Cass, Kit and Klay – then four, six and nine – were pictured in uniforms for the prestigious Cheadle Hulme School.

The private independent school boasts alumni including ex-Corrie star Richard Fleeshman, Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor and the BBC’s Nick Robinson.

They charge up to £3,776 per term in fees, which is nearly £11,500 annually, and with three kids enrolled that would land the Rooneys with a sizeable bill of around £34,500 per year.

It’s unclear which schools the kids currently attend but in previous years, Kai was known to have attended plush preparatory school The Ryleys, in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

They charge up to £4,514 per term, or £13,542 per year, and offer specialist PE sessions from the age of three in football, which may have caught Wayne’s eye.

In 2018, while the family were stateside, there was considerable speculation about which school the youngsters would attend.
