AN advocate of natural face masks has used an unlikely vegetable in one of her concoctions.
She said it removed wrinkles and slowed down the aging process.
As far as she was concerned, this kitchen regular was also a "natural moisterizer" and anyone could make her beauty mask.
There's no doubt the potato tastes great either roasted, fried, or smashed.
But Luna (@lunasrasoighar) has found a whole new use for this humble vegetable and it's not for consumption.
“How to make a natural anti-aging potato face mask at home,” she said in her post.
Luna's TikTok is all about a "homemade skincare remedy."
She had high hopes for the wonders of her spud mask: "Do this every day and you will be amazed by the results."
It certainly sounded a-peeling: “These natural masks help tighten skin, remove wrinkles, and slow down the aging process."
Creating her mask was relatively simple, but first she shared some of the qualities her ingredients held.

"Potatoes are natural moisturizers and tighten the skin," she wrote.
“Bay leaves stimulate cell renewal increasing the level of collagen produced and relieves facial swelling and rejuvenates the skin."
Eggs played an important role too, she said: "Regular use of egg yolk mask improves blood circulation.”
To make her mask she peeled and diced a medium-sized potato and simmered it in a pot with 200ml of milk and four or five bay leaves.
Once it had cooled, she blended it, and then added one egg yolk, a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of almond oil.
She poured the mixture into a glass jar and refrigerated it for up to four days.
"For best results use every day for a week then two to three times a week.
"Apply a thick layer to the face, neck, and décolletage and leave for 30 to 50 minutes, then wash with warm water and hydrate with cream.
