PRINCE Andrew is allowed to stay at his Royal Lodge home after he struck a deal with King Charles, according to reports.
The disgraced duke and his majesty clashed earlier this year when Charles was said to have wanted to kick his brother out of his home.
Andrew, who no longer has official duties, shares the sprawling 30-room mansion in Windsor with just his ex-wife.
And while Charles was allegedly keen for Andrew to move out in a bid to scale down the monarchy, it appears they have reached an agreement.
Andrew, 63, has been granted a “stay of execution” after he met with Charles at Balmoral at the end of the summer, reports The Mirror.
The home needs an estimated £2million in repairs – and the duke reportedly paid £200,000 for roof repairs this year.
Earlier this year it was revealed that Charles was slashing the £250,000 subsidy Andrew received from the late Queen Elizabeth.
It meant the Duke of York, 63, would struggle to afford the running costs of Royal Lodge at Windsor, Berks.
The home needs an estimated £2million in repairs – but the duke reportedly paid £200,000 for roof repairs this year.
Very little work has been carried out on the property since Andrew spent £7.5million on repairs when he moved in after the 2002 death of the Queen Mother.

Courtiers widely believe that plans to kick Andrew out were drawn up to allow Prince William and his family to eventually move into the vast property.
Charles has previously claimed Andrew should move to nearby Frogmore Cottage — Prince Harry and Meghan’s former home.
Palace chiefs were said to have initially set a September deadline to vacate Royal Lodge.
Andrew was forced to step down from royal duties in the wake of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Last year he paid a reported £12million settlement to Virginia Guiffre, who accused him of sleeping with her while a teenager — which he denied.
The Sun has contacted the palace for comment.
