Secret hack to bag a tin full of your favourite Quality Street choccies revealed – and it’s so simple | The Sun

JOHN Lewis’ shoppers have discovered a hack to get a Quality Street tin full of your favourite chocolate.

The retailer has brought back its pick 'n' mix stands for a fifth time this Christmas, whereby you can choose which flavours you take home.

Shoppers can add 12 different flavours to a limited edition or even personalised Quality Street tin, including the returning coffee creme and the green triangle.

However, you have to be a John Lewis member if you want to fill your tin up with just one flavour.

Non-members must put at least three different chocolates in their tins.

Savvy shoppers have found a way round this though, including Kimberly Lisa.

Taking to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she shared that the iconic green triangles are her favourite flavour.

But as she isn’t a John Lewis member, she had to trick the system to be able to fill two tins up exclusively with her go-to chocolate.

“You can only have one flavour if you’re a member and I'm not a John lewis member,” she explained.

“But when I went today and filled my tin with one flavour (obviously the green triangle) I then just added one single toffee penny and one single purple one.

The pick ‘n’ mix stands are available in a number of John Lewis stores, including those in Bristol, London, Liverpool, Leeds and Nottingham.

Customers can fill a new tub for £15 or refill an old one for £12.50, but we don't yet know what weight they are.

You can personalise one too at certain John Lewis stores, adding your name on the lid, or someone else's if it's a gift – that'll cost you £17.
