TK Maxx shoppers race to nab dupe of a £90 designer candle – it’s so much cheaper it’ll make your eyes water | The Sun

THERE’S nothing nicer in autumn than a gorgeous scented candle to get your home smelling lush while you snuggle up on the sofa.

But fancy ones can easily set you back a small fortune, particularly if they're by top-end designer brands.

Fear not – eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted a fab top-tier dupe in TKMaxx, and a huge one will set you back less than £15.

Jodes Ramsey is a lifestyle blogger who regularly shares clips on her TikTok page @JodesRamsay.

And she recently shared the fab find she picked up in her local TKMaxx, in a clip that racked up nearly 17k views.

She’s purchased a huge Vila Hermanos Fiery Rouge candle for just £14.99 in the discount store.

The gorgeous scented candle is hand-poured from soy wax in Spain, has three wix for maximum fragrance, and comes in a glass jar with a stylish gold metal lid.

At 620g it’s a pretty hefty piece, and it should burn for around 90 hours or so.

And despite being a great buy in its own right, Jodes pointed out that the scent is an absolute dead ringer for the Baccarat Rouge 540 candle.

The gourmand scent is a favourite of celebs and influencers alike, but also comes with a high-end price tag: a 280g one will set you back a whopping £90.

TKMaxx’s version, meanwhile, comes in a huge £75 cheaper – taking into account the difference in size, it will save you £150 for the same burning time.

As she filmed a shot of the swanky candle, Jodes wrote the cheaper version “smells exactly like Baccarat Rouge 540”.

And viewers in the comments clearly agreed, sharing their love for the thrifty swap.

“No gatekeeping here,” TKMaxx’s own account wrote under the clip, accompanied with hands-clapping emojis.

It’s not the only dead-on candle dupe that’s been setting the internet alight over the past few days.

Aldi have released their own range of candles inspired by the patisserie ones by fancy brand Overrose.

But while the Overrose candles would set you back £46 a pop, Aldi’s come in at just £4 each, and even have the same gorgeous pastel colourways, so look uber aesthetic in any room.
