TWO fashion fans decided to wear virtually identical outfits out on the high street and ask people which they thought was more expensive.
But, in reality, there was a huge difference between the casual combos – and one cost a staggering £1.3k more than the other.
One of the stylish women opted for an on-trend black silk midi skirt, a black button up waistcoat and grey, oversized bomber jacket with trainers and a black bag.
And next to her, the other fashion fan wore a very similar ensemble, but this time with a slightly lighter coloured jacket and white trainers.
So which one do you think looks like it has the higher price tag overall?
In the video shared to Eliza.co.uk’s TikTok account, they asked others this exact question – and the response was that they were totally torn.

They explained: “One of our outfits cost much more than the other and we’re going to be asking the public which one they think is more expensive.”
The footage then cut to them interacting with people on the street, as they each gave their verdict on their looks.
Some went with their initial gut instinct, while others took it much more seriously and even checked the stitching hems of their garments – but declared that their skirts “feel exactly the same.”
And all were in agreement that they couldn’t decide as they both looked great and on-trend.

In the end, seven people said that they thought the darker jacket option slightly edged it, with five voting for the lighter jacket outfit.
After the build-up, the pair eventually lifted the lid on who was right – and it turned out the difference between the cost of the two outfits was eye-watering.
The dark jacket combo came in at an incredible £1739.99, with the jacket costing £109, her waistcoat £45.99, skirt £110.
Meanwhile her accessories were a bag for £1385 and a pair of trainers for £90.
At the other end of the spectrum, the lighter jacket was £69.99.
She teamed that with a waistcoat for £29.99, a £28 skirt, an £89 bag and £140 pair of trainers, bringing the total to £356.98.
That meant that they were over £1.3k apart – a fact people couldn’t quite believe.
But despite the price, fellow fashion fans said they still couldn’t decide which of the outfits they preferred.
One wrote: “I like the cheaper version – just saying!”
