Where do the Radfords live? | The Sun

WITH 22 kids, the Radford family are well-known across the country for being Britain's biggest family.

Led by Mum Sue and Dad Noel, the family live in a MASSIVE ten-bed house.

Where do the Radfords live?

Britain's biggest family of 24, the Radfords, call Lancashire's coastal town of Morecambe their home.

They live in a 10-bedroom former care home which parents Sue and Noel bought for £240,000 back in 2004.

Since 2004, they have welcomed 13 more children into their lives, yet somehow still manage to fit everyone into their home.

19 of the 22 children still live at home with their parents.

Chris, 33, Sophie, 29, and Millie, 22, have moved out, but they still pop over for local visits.

The family has continued to expand, welcoming new additions to the family – with Millie giving birth to her third child in June 2023.

How long have they lived there?

The Radfords have lived in their home since 2004.

Although the family have spent thousands renovating their mansion, they have been searching for a plot of land to build their dream family home.

Answering questions in a YouTube video about their housing situation in 2022, Noel said: “We are trying our best to find a plot so we can build our own house.

“We have found four so far, three of them have sold and the other one we will find out on Monday if that one sold, so fingers crossed.”

He continued: “We’re only ever going to build this one house so it’s got to be right, we want somewhere that’s got enough land for us.

“We want about an acre so we can build a big-ish house for us all but we also want there to be plenty of space so that the kids can get out and play.”

Sue added: “It’s so hard to find land that’s available and in the right location of where you want it.

“We want the kids to have their own space, it needs to be bigger basically, we’ve grown out of this house.”

But in June 2023, their luck finally changed when they announced they had found their dream home and put an offer in.

Noel explained: "We've had an offer accepted on a house. We just absolutely love it, it's just so perfect for us.

"It's the house we've been dreaming of for years and years. It's got a nice big garden all around it and there's plenty of land for what we want. It's a house where we can put our stamp on it."

The couple agreed the house is ready to move in, but needs some work including converting the garage and extending the kitchen to make it a better fit for their family.
