The 'Molly-Mae effect' is real when it comes to her fashion. Everything she’s spotted in is immediately snapped up by her fans, and often sells out in a few days. She recently posted on Instagram sporting a chocolate brown bomber that many eagle-eyed fans noted as being the leather bomber jacket from Mango, £259.99 here.
The Mango jacket has recently come back into stock on the website after being sold out thanks to Molly-Mae's post. However, if you’re not looking to pay the hefty price tag on an autumn jacket, you’re in luck as Ego has a great alternative that comes in around £219 cheaper at £40 here.
Both jackets come in the same chocolate brown shade and feature elasticated cuffs at the waistlines. The main difference is that the Mango version is made up of real leather and the Ego one uses a crackle faux leather. Ideal if you're vegan.
Alongside this, the Ego jacket is available to purchase in sizes 6 – 14, whereas Mango's sizing is slightly more limited with just S, M, or L available.
Fans were quick to shower Molly-Mae's original Instagram with comments complimenting the jacket, with one writing: "Obsessed with the jacket Molly!!".
Another even joked about Molly-Mae's power of selling items out: "She knows what she’s doing with the jacket, it’s about to be sold out".
Molly-Mae has previously sold out Zara's faux leather biker jacket, which has since become known as the 'Molly-Mae jacket' after going viral online.
She also crashed PLT's website back in 2019 after dropping her first collection with them and more recently caused massive queues and carnage at her local farm shop after posting the business online. So if you spot something you like on Molly-Mae's Instagram, you might want to nab it quickly!
