A DIY fan has shared how they transformed their kitchen on a budget with some bargain B&M buys.

The DIY fan said they made their tiny kitchen look even bigger with just a few small changes. 


The creator who goes by @Shayhome shared the kitchen transformation in a TikTok video online. 

They said: “How I upgraded my kitchen for £170.

The DIY fan revealed they first started their transformation by painting the kitchen cupboards doors white. 

You will need to take them off to do this and make sure you’ve sanded off any varnish.

The DIY fan next covered the basic kitchen tiles with some self-adhesive wall tiles. 

These are super affordable and only £10 and really easy to apply and remove. 

Shayhome went for the Hatfield white subway self adhesive wall tiles but if you want these you will have to be quick as it says there running low on stock the B&M website.

You can also get these from B&M for £7.50 and they're great for covering kitchen doors and worktops to table tops and wardrobes.

The DIY fan went for the Romeo adhesive film which gives a lovely marble-like finish on a budget. 

It looks like the DIY fan also added some decor to suit the new kitchen aesthetic, mainly some wall art, a grey and black carpet and a white vase. 

As most of their appliances were already white and black this gave the kitchen a nice, uniformed look opening the space up.

The DIY fans video racked up over 389,000 views with many viewers dying to know more about the transformation. 

One user said: “I don’t think I’ll get over such a good kitchen makeover.”

Another said: “Looks amazing!!”

A third user requested: “Plz come over and do mine too.”
