KATE Middleton is incredibly sporty and loves to get involved in any physical activities during public appearances.
In her own time, however, she is said to enjoy a hobby that her husband, Prince William, thinks is “crazy”.
Earlier this year, the Prince and Princess of Wales joined Princess Anne and sat down with Mike Tindall, husband of Zara Tindall, Anne’s daughter, for an episode of his podcast The Good, the Bad, and the Rugby.
Kate confessed: “I really generally love all sports.
“Personally, I love swimming. I absolutely love it. The colder the better.
“I absolutely love it. Slightly to the point where William says, ‘Catherine, you’re crazy.’”

Mike then revealed how Kate convinces others to join her on her cold swims but never William.
And it doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside, if “it’s dark and it’s raining and [Kate will] go and seek out cold water”.
Luckily, she shared the coat she quickly puts on after cold water swimming to warm herself up.
During a meet with volunteers from the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team in Wales back in April, Kate told a member of the public that she goes cold water swimming and wraps up in a Dryrobe when she gets out of the water.

Whilst cold water swimming is Kate’s solo hobby, there are some sports Kate and William do enjoy together and tennis is one of them.
Kate explained: “I don’t think we’ve managed to finish a game of tennis, the two of us.
“It becomes a mental challenge between the two of us.”
Mike remarked: “I’m not going to say you’re uber competitive, but…I’ve seen her play beer pong!”
The Princess also revealed that she and William have “recently got into playing paddle tennis” together, and it is a game that is very similar to pickleball.
