Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, sported a vibrant high-street brand dress at a glamorous celebrity-studded event last night.

The mother-of-one, 66, donned a colourful J. Crew shift tunic dress to attend the This Is About Humanity’s fifth annual soiree in Los Angeles yesterday.

The vibrant outfit from Michelle Obama’s favourite brand, J Crew, featured bold paisley patterns in yellow, orange, and pink shades.

The grandmother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet accessorised the outfit with a sophisticated pair of Chloe ‘Lauren’ heeled pumps in a light tan shade.

Doria wore her hair tied up, which displayed a classic pair of gold hoop earrings.

She complimented the earrings with a single gold bangle and a unique white and silver necklace with circular embellishments.

The full-length sleeves of the dress were ever so slightly ruffled up, exposing Doria’s striking tattoos just above her wrist, including a delicate butterfly illustration.

Make-up was kept to a minimum, with just a slight sheen of gloss to Doria’s lips, revealing her naturally luminous complexion.

Doria teamed up with Hollywood’s most famous power-mother Kris Jenner and her A-list daughter, Kim Kardashian as they posed up a storm at a glitzy event last night.

SKIMS founder Kim, 42, debuted a new hairstyle as she sported bangs and a ponytail as she dressed all in black, while ‘Momager’ Kris, 67, was chic in a white suit.

As the trio posed for photos, they embraced and beamed, looking very pally as they cosied up to each other.

Doria’s appearance at the star-studded event comes amid reports her daughter Meghan, 42, is planning a grand return to social media with a new Instagram account that could see her earn up to $1 million per post.

The Mail on Sunday reported the Duchess of Sussex is planning to ‘relaunch’ herself on the social media platform, following the deactivation of the @sussexroyal handle in 2020 when the couple left the UK to begin a new life across the pond.

Decorated with a picture of pink peonies, reportedly Meghan’s favourite flowers, a source close to her team this week confirmed: ‘Yes, that’s her. Expect an announcement very soon. She’s coming back.’

The duchess’s ‘new’ account – which has the handle ‘@Meghan’ – already has 76,000 followers and experts say it could prove a huge boost to her finances.

The account is already followed by several of Meghan’s friends including activist Mandana Dayani, who served as president of Archewell, the Sussexes’ media and philanthropic company, until last December.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Everyone in Hollywood is talking about the re-launch being imminent. Meghan has never made any secret of the fact she wants to return to Instagram.’

Prior to her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, Suits actress Meghan’s personal Instagram following stood at more than three million, while tens of thousands of fans signed up for her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig.

Meghan first announced she was planning a return to Instagram in an interview with The Cut last year, telling writer Allison P Davis: ‘Do you want to know a secret? I’m getting back on Instagram.’
