Crisps fans are in uproar after spotting a new Walkers Christmas range which includes a seasonal Christmas pudding flavour.
The British snack giants have also brought back the old-time duo of festive favourites Pigs in a Blanket and Festive Turkey, just in time for the festive season.
The limited edition crisps can be purchased for £5 as part of a five-pack multipack, and have so far been spotted on Aldi supermarket aisles.
While many seemed intrigued by the offbeat seasonings, others took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their dismay – particularly with the Christmas Pudding flavour – with one person so appalled, they remarked: it ‘just isn’t right full stop’.
Many more people revealed their take on the ‘sweet and spiced’ flavour and even probed Walker’s reasoning behind it.

One person wrote: ‘I love crisps and I love Christmas pudding but just no’.
Someone else joked: ‘Christmas Pudding flavour crisps someone @walkers_crisps had a few too many and thought that sounded like a good idea.’
Equally shocked, another added: ‘Christmas pudding and crisps should not mix’.
‘Eewwwww,’ said one more.
However, amongst the many that voiced their horror over the flavour, one person branded the taste ‘divine’.
‘Wow! @walkers_crisps and @AldiUK – these are amazing! The Pigs In Blankets were closest to the real thing we’ve ever tasted, and the #christmas pudding flavour is divine,’ the happy customer said.
‘I’m here for them’ remarked another.
However the crisps brand is no stranger to peculiar festive flavours after launching the Brussels Sprout flavour in October 2018.
It debuted alongside five festive flavours including Turkey and Stuffing, Pigs in Blankets, Glazed Ham, Cheese and Cranberry as well as the sprout flavour snack.

The company even produced rival multi-bags of crisps dependent on whether you were a sprout lover or a loather.
The Christmas dinner for sprout lovers included Brussels Sprouts, Turkey & Stuffing and Pigs in Blankets flavours.
And for those not so keen on the festive vegetable there was the Christmas dinner for sprout haters including Glazed Ham, Turkey and Stuffing and Cheese and Cranberry flavours in a multi-pack.
Andrew Hawkswell, Marketing Manager at PepsiCo who own Walkers, said: ‘Here at Walkers we know that Christmas isn’t Christmas without sprouts.
‘Whether you grin or grimace at the sight of them, nothing divides the nation more at Christmas than a sprout – so we have created two Christmas Dinner multipacks, one for sprout lovers and one for haters to keep the peace this festive season’.
