Arsenal star Reiss Nelson's trial delayed by a YEAR after his dog Tiago ‘attacked a masseur in his north London home’ | The Sun

ARSENAL star Reiss Nelson will have to wait a year for trial after his dog allegedly attacked a massage therapist.

Saeid Motaali was at the 23-year-old footballer's home in North London when the alleged horror unfolded.

It is claimed he was left injured by pooch Tiago on December 2, 2020.

Nelson appeared at Hendon Magistrates' Court where his trial was set to get underway today.

But the case was adjourned until August 12 next year.

The forward denies being in charge of a dog which caused injury while dangerously out of control.

It is not clear what breed of dog Tiago is with the star previously sharing a picture of a French bulldog-style animal on his Instagram.

Nelson played in yesterday's Arsenal v Man Utd 3-1 winner at the Emirates after coming on for Gabriel Martinelli.

He signed a four-year contract with the Gunners in July after rejecting a chance to leave the club as a free agent.

The winger, who joined Arsenal aged nine, is yet to start a game for the team but impressed last season while on the pitch.
