CHELSEA are reportedly “increasing pressure” on Napoli to sell Victor Osimhen to them with “more frequent approaches” over a potential transfer.
The Nigerian striker, 24, earned legendary status last season by playing an instrumental role in the Italian club ending their 33-year wait for the Serie A title.
He scored 26 goals in 32 top-flight matches and has continued that red-hot form this term with six in ten appearances despite several controversies.
Osimhen was linked with a host of Europe’s biggest clubs over the summer transfer window as both Manchester United and Chelsea chased his signature.
And the Premier League duo and rivals Arsenal were put on red alert after a controversial TikTok post left the player contemplating SUING his employers back in September.
Now a fresh update from CaughtOffside says that he remains one of Chelsea’s top targets for 2024.

This new report also adds that his current club want to strengthen their own position by getting Osimhen to agree to a release clause in his new contract.

But no progress appears to have been made between the two parties regarding an extension.
Chelsea are desperate to strengthen their forward line despite spending over £1BILLION on new additions since Todd Boehly’s takeover last year.
They remain unconvinced on 22-year-old forward Nicolas Jackson, who cost £32m from Villarreal, after just three goals in 12 appearances so far.
Meanwhile Armando Broja, 22, has only managed one goal since returning from his lengthy injury lay-off.
