Eden Hazard 'receives transfer offer from mystery Scottish club' as Chelsea legend mulls retirement | The Sun

EDEN HAZARD has received an offer to play in Scotland, according to reports.

The Belgian has been a free agent since having his Real Madrid contract ripped up in June.

Hazard, 32, is believed to have received plenty of offers to continue his career.

Intriguingly, Spanish outlet AS claim that the Chelsea legend has been offered a deal to play in Scotland.

Their report does not specify whether the offer came from Rangers, Celtic or another club.

Hazard is also claimed to have received proposals from the United States, England, Spain, France and Saudi Arabia.

He has been linked with what would be an emotional return to Lille.

The attacker began his career with the French side, helping them win the league and cup double in 2011.

There are doubts over whether he would "have the energy" to return, however.

He is also believed to have received an offer to play with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami, but has reportedly turned them down.

With his future up in the air, Hazard could retire from the game altogether.

Reports claim that he could be on the verge of hanging up his boots, with some quarters suggesting that an announcement is "imminent".

Should he call it a day, Hazard will go down as one of the Premier League's greatest ever players.

The diminutive star inspired Chelsea to two league titles, an FA Cup, League Cup and two Europa Leagues during his seven years at Stamford Bridge.

He played 352 times for the Blues, scoring 110 goals.

Hazard moved to Real Madrid in 2019, but struggled for fitness and form at Santiago Bernabeu.

In total he played just 76 games for them, scoring seven goals.
