England to address elephant in the room
In games leading up to the World Cup and stages during it, England have seen plenty of possession in their opponent's final third.
However, putting points on the board from these visits has been poor.
Even turning to the reliable kicking of George Ford is seen as a negative tactic in such attacking possessions rather than tries.
England need to start putting this right if they wish to trouble the bigger sides later in the tournament.

Coach focussed on tactics for showdown
Chile's assistant, Ricardo Cortes, spoke about the plan for today's game:
The most important thing we have is that we fight for every ball, our sacrifice, our solidarity with each other, be together as one. That is all very important in order to put together a great team. Games are not won by individuals, but by teams.

Players looking to perform for places
It is a strange situation to be in, but today's game against Chile, Borthwick's chosen side will be looking to play for their places and not the win.
Such is the difference in quality between the two nations, nobody can see further than an England victory today, understandably so.
As a result, the starting XV will be more concerned in their own performances, to book their starting places for the latter rounds of the competition.
