FANS slammed VAR for being a “f*****g mess” after Carlos Vinicius escaped punishment for a “karate chop” on Thiago Silva.
The controversial incident occurred during Chelsea’s 2-0 win at Fulham on Monday night.
Goals from Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja saw the Blues cruise to their second league win of the season.
But the result was overshadowed by a clash between Brazilian duo Vinicius and Silva late in the second half.
As Chelsea centre-back Silva controlled the ball away from his box, Fulham striker Vinicus came steaming in from behind.
He then bizarrely struck Silva on the back of the head with the side of his hand, prompting the veteran to collapse to the ground.

Silva quickly jumped back up to berate his compatriot, who was left incensed by the referee blowing the whistle.
Vinicius escaped punishment as replays showed a clear swipe down on to Silva’s head.
But despite the proof being on show, VAR did not interject and review the footage for a red card.
Officials running the technology have come under increasing criticism this season, with VAR in the spotlight for denying Liverpool a clear onside goal in their 2-1 defeat at Tottenham.
