Laura Woods goes make-up-free to reunite with Ally McCoist on early morning show after wild night boozing | The Sun

LAURA WOODS reunited with former talkSPORT co-host Ally McCoist in Paris today for a special appearance back on the airwaves.

The duo are in the French capital to cover Newcastle's trip to the Parc Des Princes as they play PSG in the Champions League.

Woods left TalkSPORT this summer after presenting the much-loved breakfast show for three years alongside McCoist.

She is now the flagship presenter on TNT Sports and presents the broadcaster's Champions League coverage.

But she returned alongside her old co-host this morning at 9am this morning as they chatted to Andy Townsend.

It was revealed that she was actually meant to join McCoist much earlier but a boozy night out in Paris put a stop to that plan.

Woods was out on the town with fellow football presenter Becky Ives and said she bumped into a French version of Alan Brazil.

McCoist asked Woods how she found her first night out in Paris to which she said: "It’s fabulous, I made friends last night in a bar with a Parisian man called Fifi, I let him wear my beret.

She continued: "Who does he remind you of? Alan Brazil. We had a fabulous night and it’s all Becky Ives’ fault that I missed my earlier slot this morning, but you’re not supposed to tell the listeners."

McCoist said he was not trying to catch Woods out with why she was late to the show that morning, saying: "I didn’t say that and I was covering you again.
